Become a Trustee at PILC

Are you passionate about social justice and looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference? We are seeking two new Trustees to join our Board and help shape the future of PILC.

As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in ensuring PILC remains true to its charitable purpose while supporting its long-term sustainability and impact.

We are committed to building a Board that is as inclusive as possible and representative of the communities we work alongside. We welcome applications from people with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. Lived experience relevant to our work is particularly valued.

While we encourage applications from anyone who shares our values and can contribute strategically, we are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with expertise in:

  • Law (particularly within the non-profit or charity sector)
  • Human Resources
  • Finance

This is a voluntary role, with reasonable expenses reimbursed. The time commitment is approximately 8–10 days per year, including Board meetings held online every other month on the third Monday from 6.00–8.00pm, an annual Board away day, and our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
